THE SUPPORT

Support is essential to understand the type of shoe needed for running so as to avoid buying a product that is not suited to your type of posture. You could send us images and /or videos of your run we will advise of the best shoes for you.

The arch of the foot

The sole of the foot or plantar surface of the foot is, in the man in the orthostatic position, the lower surface of the foot. This surface has a triangular shape, with the base, formed by the articulation of the heads of the metatarsal bones, facing anteriorly and the apex, constituted by the heel, turned posteriorly. The sole of the foot does not rest completely on the ground but rises in the volum insole, a concave surface delimited by three arches, called plantar arches, which also form the sides of the plantar surface of the foot.

There are three types of plantar arch height. Who has a flat foot or a very low bow, tends to have overpronation. Conversely, those who have a high arch tend to have a hypopronation. If your bow is normal, your pronation level is likely to be too.

The categories

The categories of running shoes are varied if you take into account that each shoe has a unique feature and then replacing it in a classification card together with another shoe becomes limiting as a choice. It is therefore necessary to group them according to their characteristics in a form that can combine them with an example reference:

A3 explicitly indicates for runners that have a neutral backing etc.

It is essential to take into account the weight and height of the runner and the volume of the foot.

The sizes

As regards the choice of shoe size to be ordered, the most precise reference is the centimeters (see CM in the Size Guide) which correspond to the length of the shoe; it should be borne in mind that after detecting the length of your foot it is necessary to add at least 0.5 / 1 cm to the measurement taken in order to receive the shoe in the correct size. Buying a shoe larger than the measured size of your foot becomes indispensable due to the fact that when you run your foot it tends to expand and increase in volume, so a pair of shoes that are too fair to measure would cause different problems both of support and of yield. If you have any doubts about it, do not hesitate to contact us via Whatsapp or by e-mail for further clarification.
